So the weekend came and went, and now that it is Wednesday I decided to get off my butt and post about the gaming that I’ve done. (And the fact that today is Wednesday – D&D night, I figured I’d get it done.)
So Lisa and Sean came over and so did Kyle and we played Agricola. Agricola is a board game that we play quite regularly. It is a farming game based on collection and building. The game is fairly simple to learn, it moves fast and so far anyone we’ve played the game with has enjoyed it alot.
The game is played in rounds and in total there are 15 rounds of play. You start off with 2 men and a blank plot. You job is to fill your plot with rooms in your house, pastures and fields. You gain points for the more “items” you acquire. The object is to win by the most points.
Devilishly simple you say? Well there is a lot of strategy in the game, based on the cards that you aquire you can gain extra bonus points. If you get the chance to play this game do not pass it up. I consider this to be one of my favorite board games.
